is aland of culture,an ancient land of thousands of yeares on years on the basin plain land of the lake which has seas on the 2 coasts i.e. Songkhla Lake and Gulf of Thailand which Popularly is called Sathingphra Cape. Now the site of Amphur Sathingphra,Amphur Ranode ,Sub-district Krasaesindth and Amphur Singhanakorn .

The word Songkhla is though to be derived from the word Singhala which means lion by indian,Persian and Arabian merchants who had seen koh Nu-koh Maew which look like 2 lion kneeling.
