Now the site of Amphur Sathingphra,Amphur Ranode ,Sub-district Krasaesindth and Amphur Singhanakorn .
The word Songkhla is though to be derived from the word Singhala which means lion by indian,Persian and Arabian merchants who had seen koh Nu-koh Maew which look like 2 lion
